What I Write

Novels

Sci-Fi and Fantasy are my bread and butter. I write and read stories about worlds that could have been, that could never be, and are only possible in the distant future. I enjoy building vast worlds, complex magic systems, incredible technologies, and unique religions.

Current Projects

Shango and Jameson, two warlocks with troubled pasts, are on the run from the Covenant of Magi. Their fragile peace in Los Angeles shatters when a deadly Paladin ambushes them. Though they survive, they face a new dilemma: disposing of the body. They strike a dangerous bargain with Sykonixa the Dragon, Jameson’s former lover. In exchange for covering up the Paladin’s murder, they must retrieve her stolen treasure within two days—or be devoured.

Their quest for the treasure brings them unexpected allies. Joy, a high school counselor skeptical of magic but secretly telepathic, investigates a violent drug called “The Gift” plaguing her students. Tabitha, a librarian recently awakened to the reality of magic, hunts a child murderer who might be a goblin.

The group’s paths converge at an underground auction led by Scipio Von Osterland, a flamboyant and sadistic ex-vampire baron. Scipio’s centerpiece: the very treasure the warlocks seek. As they face off against Scipio’s monstrous minions—wolf-spirited thugs, half-vampires, and other outcasts—they unknowingly uncover a deeper threat.

An ancient African god, foreseeing the end of reality, has had a prophecy: one warlock will save the world, while the other will doom it. To prevent this cataclysm, she dispatches a relentless assassin, tasked with a dire mission—one warlock must be protected, the other killed.

Warlocks - Book 1

Out of 200 elite recruits, only three survive the final test of the Adventures Academy: enduring a Hashta superstorm to gain Kinetic powers—control over singularities and lightning. Draymond Croe and his classmates, Shilo and Shayne, join the legendary Adventurers, only to discover the group’s true mission: to manipulate and dominate other nations.

Unwilling to exploit poorer nations, Draymond’s disgraced former teacher introduces him to the story of the Hashlanders: long dead terrorists who believe that the worlds climate is changing. As Draymond uncovers the looming threat of more deadly superstorms, he tries to warn the leaders of Peaceland, but his mixed heritage leaves his warnings ignored.

Alone and desperate, Draymond must find mythical swords of power so he can control the superstorms and prevent global catastrophe. But the greatest threat might come from the woman he loves, who has been tasked by his own government with stopping him—at any cost.

The Dangerous Man - Book 1

James Washington, a philosophy professor from Earth 1, joins an elite team on an expedition to the multiverse planet Earth 5. Upon arrival, he discovers the shocking truth: the expedition leaders have trapped the colonists in an illegal time travel experiment, sending them 5,000 years into the past. In the aftermath of a violent coup, James is chosen as a leader alongside the conservative soldier, Lt. Jamie Madison.

As years pass, the grim reality sets in—help isn’t coming, and no one, not even the children, are aging. With no way back to their original timeline, James and Madison’s only hope is to guide the primitive humans of Earth 5 towards developing the technology to create multiverse portals. Their conflicting ideologies—James’s progressive views versus Madison’s conservative strategies—spark a centuries-long struggle to shape this new world.

Will they overcome their differences to build a better future, or will their ideological battles plunge the world into chaos? The future of humanity hangs in the balance as they grapple with the challenges of near-immortality and leadership.

Something Worth Doing

The Cortez family, like many others on the devastated Earth 11, is clinging to survival amid the unending horrors of a global nuclear war. When army recruiters come to abduct Isabella and her brother, the family faces a grim reality: the only chance for survival lies in fleeing their universe. But they are penniless, exhausted, and their mental health is deteriorating.

Desperation drives Isabella to take on the impossible task of gathering the immense funds needed for a multiverse portal. She must guide her family through 250 miles of a nightmarish nuclear wasteland, facing relentless dangers and the darkness of their own fears. In a world where hope is a rare commodity, the question looms: can they escape, or are they doomed to be consumed by the remnants of their dying world?

Two Minutes to Midnight

Reasons

Earth 10, the ‘Sick Planet,’ is ravaged by plagues and climate catastrophe after a third nuclear bomb dropped on Japan. Los Angeles is submerged, and life expectancy is grim. In the walled city of Lancaster, California, Nia Thompson is on the brink of despair, while her friend Gabriel watches his father succumb to cancer.

Desperate for hope, they decide to make a film to inspire their dying city. But when Raiders steal vital medical supplies, Nia and Gabriel use their film to rally the military for a high-stakes mission. Success means saving lives, including Gabriel’s father; failure means death.

Unbeknownst to them, a traitor in their crew has plans to escape Earth 10, even if it costs Nia and Gabriel everything. In a world where hope is scarce, they must fight apathy, sickness, and dangerous Raiders, to save their city and themselves. Maybe then they can find a life worth fighting for.

Screenplays

Comedy and Drama, baby, all day every day. Especially in the same story. I’m really interested in quirky dialogue, relatable settings, and stories about the funny tragedies that befall us in every day life.

Six friends having a weekly board game night are interrupted by a booming movie trailer voice from the sky. Inexplicably, they find themselves trapped in a Horror Movie. Who amongst them will turn into a homicidal killer? Who will be the sole survivor? And who will be the first to die in the shower? Struggling to break free from the stereotypes that would see them dead, each of the friends try to stay alive in whatever hopelessly desperate ways they can.

OMG… We’re in a Horror Movie!!!

After a devastating end to a beautiful relationship, Michael is a wreck of a human. During a drunken game night, his despair reminds his three best friends of their own traumatic heartbreaks. After Michael passes out, the three inebriated friends go on a completely justifiable, totally heroic, and somewhat idiotic journey to avenge their broken hearts by vanquishing his “evil” ex, Debbi.

After Michael’s love life goes up in flames, he’s left in shambles. One night, during a drunken game night with his three best buddies, his misery sparks memories of their own epic heartbreaks. With a perfect mix of alcohol and questionable judgment, they come up with a plan: to avenge their broken hearts by taking down Michael’s “evil” ex, Debbi. So, after Michael passes out, these three tipsy amigos set off on a wildly justifiable, hilariously heroic, and slightly idiotic quest to vanquish Debbi once and for all.

His descent into madness drives him to a dark compulsion: every night, he slips silently into Lenora’s room, his heart racing, eyes fixated on the blue eye that holds him captive. The line between reality and delusion blurs, and Degun is drawn deeper into a terrifying obsession that threatens to consume them both.

Thank You For Trying

Based on actual stories, this is a hilarious and heartwarming story about a disastrously awkward first date between Ben and Haley. Ben, guided by his personified Heart, struggles with nerves, inappropriate thoughts, and a persistent stomach. Meanwhile, Haley, equally anxious and accompanied by her own Heart and a mischievous bottle of wine, battles self-consciousness and a tendency to overthink. As they fumble through awkward conversations, spilled drinks, and a poorly timed fart, their internal dialogues provide a comedic and endearing glimpse into the chaos of dating. Despite the mishaps, including a broken nose and a lot of bathroom breaks, Ben and Haley ultimately connect, deciding to take things slow and enjoy the journey. The story ends on a sweet note, with both characters looking forward to their next date, convinced that this was the best date ever.
